A mystery shopper is someone hired by a company to visit their establishment, typically a retail store, restaurant, hotel, or service provider, to assess various aspects of the customer experience. The mystery shopper’s identity and purpose are kept secret from the staff to ensure they receive an authentic experience. After the visit, the mystery shopper provides detailed feedback on factors like cleanliness, customer service, product quality, and adherence to company policies. This feedback helps businesses identify areas for improvement and maintain consistent service standards. As a mystery shopper, you will either get paid, reimbursed, or both for completing a mystery shop.

You can sign up for shops on your shopper portal (either on Gigspot or our site), or you can email [email protected] and we can assign you directly to your desired shop(s).
Gigspot is a third-party platform that offers mystery shops from a variety of different mystery shopping companies. All our shops are posted on Gigspot. Once you’ve created an account with Gigspot, you will no longer have access to our shopper portal on our site. The difference between Gigspot and our site is the online visual format and the variety of job opportunities on Gigspot. For all questions about Gigspot, please email [email protected].
We have both a Gigspot and MobiAudit app where you can fill out your reports; however, we DO NOT recommend these apps because occasionally your data can get deleted. The best way to fill out your report is on a laptop or desktop computer with strong internet connection.
For some shops, you may reschedule your date on your shopper portal. For most shops, you must email [email protected] and we will reschedule your shop for you.
Yes, you must perform your shop on the date you are assigned (or the “planned date”). You may NOT perform your shop on the start or due date. The due date is the date your report is due. All reports are due within 24 hours from the time you completed the shop, unless specified otherwise by your scheduler. To reschedule your shop, please email [email protected].
To cancel your shop, please email [email protected].
If your shop was removed, that means it was overdue (not turned in on time). Reports are due within 24 hours of the time you complete your shop. If your shop was removed but you completed the shop, please email [email protected].
Be sure to check your zip code and the “radius” in the search tool on your shopper profile. If these are all correct, then there may not be any shops in your area. You are welcome to email us at [email protected] and we can double check for you.
Scroll to the bottom of your survey and click “check if complete”. A pop-up will come up that lets you know how many questions are incomplete. Click “cancel” and scroll through your survey. All unanswered questions will have a red box around them. Be sure emails and dollar amounts are in the correct format. Still having trouble? Email [email protected].
Login to your shopper portal and search the job board (list) or job board (map) to find shops along your travel route or email our schedulers: [email protected].
The employees whom we record are all made aware by their employers that they will be audio/video recorded by mystery shoppers; so yes, it is legal and allowed.
